Well, Polo was on NPR this am....though it was reppin' the fixies with the pvc shit mallets and smack talk about cheap frames. however, here in the swamp the challenges are much greater than no breaks on a tight concrete field. speed and agility are a must! our solid oak mallets are no joke for the power shot and watch out for that TREE!

Well, bad news is we've broken three mallets - good news is we lost them to playing LIKE champs. Thanks to all the folks coming out to play - we've been using and abusing the equiptment. We're in the process of making and ordering new mallets. We got a new ball that flies when you tap it. seeeee ya.

Friday, high day...where were you??

we had a large turnout this friday!
emma's ma made ginger snap cookies and jen brought meat loaf.

there was even a spectator crowd.


Rome was in town and I let him play on the w.u.ss, he did well for a first timer.

JamieW showed up with his Crow bike to get a little taste of bike polo fever. He seemed to have a good handle right off the bat.

Thanks to Brooke and Nathan for participating on the fly. More girls need to play!

We have a steady crew of 5 - but 8 is GREAT!
